Time to Catch Up!

I knew that it had been awhile since my last post, but a month? Geez, that's too long! I've got some serious catching up to do, so let me get started...

Since my last post was Christmas Eve, let me start by sharing some pictures from Christmas Day:

One of Jordi's favorite gifts was an Easy Bake Oven from Santa. She didn't have much on her list, and that was at the top, so I'm glad Santa came through!

Both Jordi & Caroline had been asking for it since last Christmas, so Uncle Al did real good by giving each girl her very own Moon Sand gift. (Warning to parents reading this blog: it's a mess!)

Since Jordi got one for her birthday, Caroline has been wishing for her own Leapster. Luckily, Nana & Grandad got her one for Christmas! In this picture, Jordi is showing Caroline how to play her new game.

One of our favorite Christmas traditions is the annual gathering of friends at the Elswick home on Christmas Night. Don't you just love Sherri's new pink feather tree? I thought it was so neat that I took a picture of it!

So, that's it for Christmas pictures. Things have slowed down considerably this month (which is a good thing!) We're back in our routine, which has been interrupted only occasionally by snow. I took this picture a couple weeks ago on January 8th:

They both love to play in the snow, Caroline especially. Given the forecast for our area over the next few days, they will probably be doing a lot more of it!
