Caroline Uses a Cup
Part of growing up during the first year is to progress from drinking from a bottle to a cup. Last month, when Caroline turned 9 months old, we stopped using the bottle completely. Since that day, during lunch or dinner, if she wanted some formula to drink, she had to take it from the sippy cup or go without! Initially, this really didn't suit her; there were quite a few meals that she only drank an ounce or two and dribbled the rest of it onto her bib. Well, she is now 10 months old, and I'm happy to announce that those days are over! Something clicked a few days ago, and now she not only can hold the cup by herself, but also gets the whole 8 ounces down the hatch without getting soaked! Yipee!
