UK 17 - South Carolina 24

This past weekend was another football Saturday in the Bluegrass. Although the outcome of the game wasn't ideal, the weather sure was; we had a glorious blue sky and loads of sunshine all day long!

This is such a great picture of the girls - too bad that half of it is so shady! It's not every day that I get both girls to smile so nicely!

This is one of my favorite vantage points from which to take a father/daughter picture. So sweet!

Once in the stadium, we girls discovered that the sun was going to be bake us to a crisp if we stayed in our seats very long. In this picture, Caroline's vainly trying to keep the sun out of her eyes..

Ahhh, sweet relief! We ladies - Nana, Susie, Megan, Aunt Donna & me - quickly got ourselves & the kids out of the hot sun. We spent the majority of the first half here on the concourse, enjoying the lovely shade & cool breezes. (We weren't alone either; there were lots of other moms & kids down there, too!)

A busy morning of tailgating sure can tucker a person out! We girls returned to the tailgate after halftime. I'll admit that I was as tired as Caroline is in this picture, and managed to catch a few zzz's, too, while I sat with her asleep in the car.

Thank goodness that next week's game is at night; I don't have the stamina for any more day games!
