Made with Love by Grandma
We got a wonderful package in the mail from NH the other day, full of love from Grandma Henri & Aunt Donna. I speak figuratively, of course; literally, it contained hand-sewn dresses and a nightgown for each girl. Grandma is an excellent seamstress, and Aunt Donna contributed by using her savvy fashion sense to select some of the fabrics. Here are some pictures of their teamwork:
We traveled to Pullman Square (in nearby Huntington, WV) on Saturday evening, and I took this picture of the girls near the fountain. They are enjoying some after-dinner sweets, courtesy of the church group that was putting on the live music that night.
Here they they are in their ballerina nightgowns! Both girls love their new nightgowns, but Caroline especially does. She's loathe to remove hers when it's time to get dressed each morning and, yesterday, she even insisted on wearing it during her nap! Thank you, Grandma!
